How Our Self-Guided Tours Work
Our Self-Guided tours provide you with the tools and logistics you need to tour effortlessly at your own pace, with a guide operating in the background anda vailable as needed. All our tours are private, and you will only be traveling with your chosen companions.
Guide Support
Your guide meets you on the first day, transfers you to the start of your ride, and provides a comprehensive route briefing. From there, you ride independently while your guide takes care of all the behind-the-scenes logistics, including luggage transfers and any pre-arranged shuttles. With a support vehicle nearby and your guide only a phone call away, you relax and enjoy the ride.
Ride Your Choice of Routes
Choose the Activity Level that best suits you and explore at your own pace. Stop wherever you like for as long as you like. Each day offers multiple routes, so you can mix and match to create the perfect tour.
Navigate with Ease
Our smartphone GPS app helps you navigate and discover points of interest. Our printed guidebooks help you explore the overnight towns and find must-see sights. Backed by your guide's local expertise, you'll enjoy riding the best routes and finding hidden gems. We also recommend our favorite restaurants and can assist with reservations.
Who are these tours good for?
We’ve toured before
We are a couple who ride 20 miles a week and are comfortable traveling and touring on our own. We have done both guided and self-guided tours in the past.
Groups
Some of us have toured, others have not. We are independent travelers, though two in our group are a little green. Between LifeCycle’s support and their fellow travelers, they will be fine!

We are comfortable with independent travel, and we love exploring at our own pace. We have traveled in the past and are happy to interact in new places and cultures.
We are independent
We don’t like big groups or having every hour of the day mapped out. We want to pick our own restaurants, cycle at our own pace, and prefer not to dine with a large group.
