About Us
Founder's Note
In 2003, I left my career as a management consultant to create LifeCycle Adventures with a simple idea: travel should feel personal and empowering. I didn't want to herd guests along in a group but instead give them the tools to explore on their own – with the confidence that support would be there whenever they needed it.
We are all different, and I wanted our tours to reflect that. That’s why every trip is customized: you choose your dates, route intensity, and accommodations, while we take care of the details – from dinner reservations to end-of-tour transportation.
Our guides are at the heart of this experience. They don’t just arrive for the season – they live and ride in these regions. Their professionalism and deep local knowledge, paired with a support van nearby, give you the freedom to explore independently, knowing help is never far away.
More than 20 years later, this vision continues to shape every trip we offer – and every journey our guests take with us.

Founded LifeCycle in 2004 after bike touring in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Previously a consultant, which his colleagues find boring.

Co-Owner
Joined LifeCycle in 2014 post a long stint in financial services (tied with Tony for most boring career). Portland-based and French born. Bad mechanic.
Greg Craig 🇬🇧 🇿🇦
Head of Operations
Extensive experience as a guide and operator in the cycle touring world, having worn many hats. Tricked into joining LifeCycle by his wife. Still here.
Kelly Dorius 🇺🇸
Head of Marketing & Sales
Oregonian native (our home!). Also owns a hot air balloon company and flies balloons. Swears like a sailor, and sails. Drives an old Rover named Steve.
Victoria Phelps 🇬🇧
Head of Guest Relations
France-based and British born with LifeCycle since 2014. Avid runner and eater of ALL things chocolate. Now based in France.

Operations
Italian-born outdoor enthusiast shaped by South Africa, the UK, and France. Chases her granddaughter around the Pyrenees daily.

Involved in all things cycling since the age of 14. Weirdly passionate about all maps. Based in the Netherlands, and uses CAPS in emails a lot.
