Denmark & Sweden

All rides begin with a van transfer to Klampenborg on the northern edge of Copenhagen. From here, riders pass through the UNESCO-listed Jægersborg Deer Park, famed for its herds of red deer and ancient oak trees. Leaving the park, all routes follow the scenic coastline with long stretches of sandy beach.

The Leisure ride continues along the coast all the way into Helsingør.

The Intermediate ride adds a short inland detour to visit Nivå Church and the Nivaagaards Malerisamling art museum.

The Challenge ride ventures further inland following the Intermediate route to the art museum, then climbs gently to the edge of the Store Dyrehave forest.

Today's ride starts with a ferry ride across the Øresund Strait to Helsingborg in Sweden. All rides start out along Sweden's scenic coastal bike path, passing Sofiero Castle — one of Sweden's most beautiful estates. The path continues north to Viken, a charming fishing village with a picturesque harbor.

In Viken, the Leisure route turns inland through peaceful countryside, returning directly to Helsingborg.

Intermediate riders continue up the coast to the lively seaside town of Höganäs.

Challenge riders extend this route by heading farther north to Krapperup, home to a historic windmill, castle, art gallery, and gardens.

The Epic route continues from Krapperup into the dramatic Kullaberg Nature Reserve.

Today you stay in Denmark and explore the beautiful North Zealand countryside. The routes take you through royal forests, past historic castles, and along scenic coastlines.

Leisure riders enjoy a gentle loop along the coast and through the Gribskov forest.

Intermediate riders explore further inland, visiting Fredensborg Palace — the Danish royal family's spring and autumn residence.

Challenge riders take a longer loop through the forests and lakes of North Zealand.

Today's routes head northwest along the North Zealand coast to the charming fishing town of Gilleleje. The routes pass through a series of pretty coastal villages, sandy beaches, and stretches of forest.

Leisure riders follow a more direct coastal route.

Intermediate riders take a slightly longer inland route through the forest before returning to the coast.

Challenge riders make a longer loop through the heart of North Zealand.

Today you head southwest down the coast to the laid-back coastal hideaway of Tisvilde, known for its wide sandy beach, pine forests, and relaxed village atmosphere.

The Intermediate route is a beautiful combination of coastal and countryside riding, passing through the relaxed seaside village of Rågeleje before turning inland on quiet rural lanes.

The Leisure ride follows a more direct route, staying close to the coastline.

The Challenge ride follows the Intermediate route out of Gilleleje to Helsinge, then continues riding south to Lake Arresø before winding back to Tisvilde.

Today you head west along the coast from Tisvilde to explore the sparsely-populated western edge of North Zealand.

The Intermediate ride starts out tracing the shoreline through the Troldeskoven nature reserve to the mouth of the Roskilde Fjord and the harbor town of Hundested. From here, the loop follows the southern shore of the peninsula along the calm waters of the fjord.

Leisure riders follow the Intermediate route to Hundested, then take a more direct return through the forested lanes of the Troldeskoven nature reserve.

The Challenge ride starts out following the Intermediate ride to Hundested. After Hundested, a short ferry crossing takes you to a peaceful, pastoral landscape.
