Tony Blakey

As a boy, Tony caught the cycling bug riding near his childhood home in Yorkshire, England. In 2000, Tony moved to San Francisco where he founded LifeCycle Adventures.  Tony has organized and led cycle tours in Costa Rica, Cuba, France, Italy, Scotland, Spain, Morocco, Vietnam and, England.

In his previous career, Tony was a partner in the firm of Accenture, specializing in the area of Leadership and Human Performance. Tony is married to Alexis and they live in Portland, Oregon with their sons Adam and Charlie.

Pierre Campana-Jourda

Pierre Campana-Jourda

Originally from France but a resident of the U.S. since 1991, Pierre left the corporate world to go after different pursuits. Pierre is an avid runner, outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys restoring Land Rovers in his spare time.

Pierre is one of the two majority owners of the company and leads the Sales and Marketing team.

Pierre is married with three children and lives in Portland, Oregon.

Greg Craig

Greg Craig

Greg grew up in South Africa and has always been in love with cycling. He now lives in the French Pyrenees and is continually searching for another great bike ride and a new adventure. A lover of the mountains and the outdoors, he loves to share his passion with like-minded people. Greg spends his summers guiding fellow cyclists around Europe and in the off-season exploring new locations and routes to add to LifeCycle’s repertoire.

Victoria Craig

Victoria Craig

Originally from Kent, England, Victoria now lives with her husband in the heart of the Pyrenees at the bottom of the Col du Tourmalet, an area infused with cycling legends and historical Tour de France stages. They bought an old French barn in 2015 and are currently renovating to make it habitable. She has experience running cycling tours in England, France, Spain and Italy. As the European Operations Manager for LifeCycle Adventure Victoria’s role is to oversee the running of trips in Europe as well as to research and carry out reconnaissances for new locations being added each year.

Kelly Dorius

Kelly Dorius

An Oregon native, Kelly has been working with LifeCycle Adventures since 2018 as an operations and marketing specialist. Along with her background in marketing, LifeCycle combines Kelly’s love for adventure with planning unforgettable experiences for our guests. Kelly lives in Portland, Oregon where she enjoys running, camping, travel and spending time outdoors. She is also a licensed commercial hot air balloon pilot.

I was born in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Provence and have been a cyclist for nearly my entire life. I have loved exploring this area by bike and it would be my pleasure to share my favorite routes with you. I also have some great suggestions for restaurants, wineries and local markets.  I look forward to meeting you at the start of your tour.

Julien Gassiot - Pyrenees

Julien Gassiot - Pyrenees

My name is Julien and I will be one of the guides taking care of you during your tour.  I grew up in Béarn, at the foot of the Pyrénées. I spent 10 years running a local brasserie with my father and then 5 years being a chocolatier. After 15 years in the catering sector, I decide to leave the industry and spend more time pursuing my true passion: the outdoors.  I look forward to meeting you and hope you will enjoy your trip to this beautiful part of France as much as I love living here.

My name is Pieter and I will be one of the guides taking care of you during your tour. As a child, I would spend hours on my bike exploring the forests, medieval towns, and canals near my Dutch home. Later I moved abroad organizing tours all over the world. But the pull of my homeland was irresistible and I am now back where my heart says I belong. My name is Maurice and I will be one of the guides taking care of you during your tour. Locally born, I spent four years living in New Zealand working in the hospitality industry before returning to Ireland where I became a professional guide in 2013. When I’m not out guiding, you are most likely to find me cycling, surfing or hiking with my wife Janet and our two dogs Jade and Layla. I look forward to meeting you at the start of your tour.

My name is Emilio Sbandelli and I will be one of the guides taking care of you during your tour. I was born in Siena and have lived in Tuscany my whole life. As a child, I helped out in my parent’s bike shop and loved riding my bike around the local towns and villages. After a stint in Florence as a mechanical engineer, I am now following my true passion: guiding people around this stunning area on a bike! I look forward to meeting you at the start of your tour.

My name is Pedro and I will be one of the guides taking care of you during your tour.  I was born and raised in Brazil and lived in both Chile and Argentina before moving to Portugal. In a past life, I was a production engineer but left “the office” to pursue my perfect job: sharing my love and knowledge of the outdoors with tour guests. My name is Carles and I will be one of the guides taking care of you during your trip.  I was born and raised in Catalonia and studied geography at university here. My passions are cycling, hiking and Sicilian cuisine – I lived in Sicily for four years before returning to Girona where I have been a bike guide for 12 years.  I look forward meeting you at the start of your tour when we can share stories and I will show you my favorite places to ride in Catalonia.

My name is Thomas and I will be taking care of you during your tour. I am a year-round resident of the San Juan Islands and have been guiding here – by bike and by kayak – for over ten years. In my past life I was a Peace Corps volunteer and I have a master’s degree in landscape architecture. Our names are Bruno & Gabi and we will be taking care of you during your tour of Hawaii.  We moved to Hawaii in 2011; continuing a long love affair with the Island.
