Tony Blakey

As a boy, Tony caught the cycling bug riding near his childhood home in Yorkshire, England. In 2000, Tony moved to San Francisco where he founded LifeCycle Adventures.  Tony has organized and led cycle tours in Costa Rica, Cuba, France, Italy, Scotland, Spain, Morocco, Vietnam and, England.

In his previous career, Tony was a partner in the firm of Accenture, specializing in the area of Leadership and Human Performance. Tony is married to Alexis and they live in Portland, Oregon with their sons Adam and Charlie.

Pierre Campana-Jourda

Pierre Campana-Jourda

Originally from France but a resident of the U.S. for 25 years, Pierre recently left the corporate world to go after far more rewarding pursuits. Pierre is an avid runner, outdoor enthusiast, and licensed hot air balloon pilot.

Pierre is one of the two majority owners of the company and leads the Sales and Marketing team.  He also heads and is a majority owner of Vista Balloon Adventures – a sister company of LifeCycle Adventures.

Pierre is married with three children and lives in the Portland, Oregon area.

Victoria Craig

Victoria Craig

Originally from Kent, England, Victoria now lives with her husband in the heart of the Pyrenees at the bottom of the Col du Tourmalet, an area infused with cycling legends and historical TDF stages. They bought an old French barn in 2015 and are currently renovating to make it habitable. She has experience running cycling tours in England, France, Spain and Italy. As the European Operations Manager for LifeCycle Adventure Victoria’s role is to oversee the running of trips in Europe as well as to research and carry out reconnaissances for new locations being added each year.

Laura Rondet

Laura Rondet

Laura Rondet grew up in both Mexico and Texas benefitting from a multicultural and bilingual setting that inspired a lifelong passion for travel, learning about other cultures and their languages. Laura has a BBA in Marketing and a MA/MS in Strategic Management.

Laura and her husband pursue the sport of triathlon paired with a charity cause. They make it a point to fundraise for causes they support in pairing with participation in their triathlon races.  Together they have completed various events, including more than a dozen Ironman and Half-Ironman distance events supporting organizations like CAF (The Challenged Athletes Foundation) that helps physically disabled people pursue active lifestyles.

Laura is fully tri-lingual being fluent in Spanish, English and French. She oversees Operations for LifeCycle Adventures and also leads the California team.

Stacey Royce

Stacey Royce

Stacey discovered the joy of recreational cycling and bike commuting after moving to Portland and meeting her husband, Adnan, in 2004. One of her favorite adventures was their honeymoon bicycle tour in the Loire Valley in France.

Stacey is an avid dancer, yoga practitioner, and outdoor enthusiast. She now works in the Sales & Marketing team for LifeCycle Adventures and thoroughly enjoys designing dream vacations for all guests of LifeCycle Adventures.

Alexis Nelson

Alexis Nelson

Born and raised in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, Alexis has always had an affinity for adventure and the outdoors. She has lived in Italy, Spain, Belgium, and the UK. In 2009 and 2010 she traveled around the world with her husband, Tony. Along the way they had their first son – in Italy. Wherever Alexis travels her bike goes with her – along with sons Adam and Charlie.

Alexis was one of the founding partners of the company. Her previous jobs have included European logistics, marketing and business development. She received her MBA from Mills College.

Laura Rondet

Laura was born in Mexico and schooled in Texas. She then lived in England and Hawaii before settling in Northern California with her racing-driver husband Nico. With a BBA in Marketing and a MA/MS in Strategic Management, Laura’s previous careers have included teacher, relationship manager and real estate manager. A triathlete with a cause, Laura and Nico have raced and fundraised in multiple triathlons including six ironman distance events.

Adam McAree

Adam McAree

Originally from Michigan, Adam’s first tour was the Multiple Sclerosis (MS150) charity ride for which he had to raise $150 and ride 150 miles at 12 yrs of age. Since then he has enjoyed commuting by bike, running, hiking and exploring his world. He, his partner, and their dog have done sections of both the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail. Adam feels that connecting with nature is the best form of medicine for the soul.

After ten years in New York City, where he worked in operations for multiple theatre chains, Adam returned to the Pacific Northwest to finish his MBA and make a home with his partner, Mina, in Portland, OR.

Adam loves experiencing the world on bicycle and helping others do the same. He recently returned from a bike tour throughout Ecuador and hopes to return to South America in the off-season to pick up where he left off.

Bruno and Gabi Giovanoli

Bruno and Gabi Giovanoli

Originally from Switzerland, Bruno & Gabi Giovanoli moved permanently to Hawaii in 2011 to continue a long love affair with the island. In their former lives Bruno & Gabi were consultants to finance and healthcare companies and ran training camps in Switzerland, Mallorca, and Canary Islands. They speak German, French, Italian.

Bruno & Gabi are keen triathletes having competed in several Ironman triathlons including the Hawaii World Championships. Bruno is also a commercial pilot Bruno & Gabi manage the Hawaii operations for LifeCycle Adventures and of course, swim, ride and run in the area several times a week.

Thomas Bennett

Thomas Bennett

Thomas traveled extensively as a student and Peace Corps volunteer before settling in Eugene, Oregon where he completed a Master of Landscape Architecture degree and started a landscape design company specializing in ecological restoration.

Thomas volunteers in the community as a master gardener and can often be found in the garden or riding the trails.

Thomas is now area manager in the San Juan Islands where he has been guiding bike tours for over 10 years.

Ingo Olie

Ingo Olie

Born in Germany, Ingo moved to Florence when he was 18 years old to study Art History and Art Restoration. He has been designing and organizing walking and cycling tours across Europe for over 30 years and at 48 years old is very happy to say that is still a competitor in bike races such as the Maratona delle DolomitiGranfondo di Monteriggioni, Granfondo della Val di Merse, the Strade Bianche, Nove Colli and l’Eroica.  Ingo lives outside of Siena with his Dutch wife and son and daughter who were both born in Italy.  He loves helping visitors discover the great wine, food, and culture of Tuscany. Ingo is fluent in German, Italian, and English and has working knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, and French.
