Tony Blakey
As a boy, Tony caught the cycling bug riding near his childhood
home in the Yorkshire Dales. In 2000, Tony moved from
England to San Francisco where he founded LifeCycle Adventures.
Tony has organized and led cycle tours in Costa Rica, Cuba,
France, Italy, Scotland, Spain, Morocco, Vietnam and, of
course, England. As an avid traveler, Tony has visited over
fifty countries across six continents. His latest expedition
was completing La Ruta de los Conquistadores in Costa Rica. This
MTB race bills itself as the "toughest on the planet."
In his previous career, Tony was a partner in the firm
of Accenture, specializing in the area of Leadership and
Human Performance.

Dan Moore
Raised
in Florida, Dan is an avid sportsman and cycling enthusiast – regularly
competing in triathlons. A qualified leader with the
Adventure Cycling Association, Dan enjoys nothing more than
guiding cyclists around an area he has been cycling in for
years.
Dan’s previous jobs have included securities
dealer, management consultant and (like everyone else in
Silicon Valley in the late 90s) founder of an internet start-up.
While Dan has traveled extensively in Europe
and Southeast Asia, he is a San Franciscan at heart. On
arriving here he fell in love with the city, the countryside
and, a little later, his wife, Colleen. Dan's sense
of fun and endless enthusiasm add a real burst of entertainment
and energy to any cycle tour he leads.
Dan can be contacted at dan@lifecycleadventures.com.
Colleen Moore

has also lived in Washington, Geneva, Paris, Singapore and
Miami. In her late twenties, she returned to San Francisco,
a city she describes as her true home.
Colleen has many sporting achievements including completing
marathons, winning the state tennis championships, being
an accomplished skier and, of course, riding the roads and
bike trails of Northern California.
Fluent in French, Colleen is delighted to welcome French
speaking visitors to the "second most famous wine growing
region in the world."
Colleen is married to Dan and together they are raising
their two sons James & Luke.
