Each year, LifeCycle Adventures seek to support events in our operating areas that give back to the community. This past weekend marked the second time we’ve driven in a support role for the Harvest Century, an annual fundraising ride for Community Vision, the largest nonprofit organization providing individualized housing, supported living, employment and home ownership services to people with disabilities and their families in Oregon.
Saturday saw nearly 1500 participants ride a range of routes through the Willamette Valley, in the heart of where we run so many of our Oregon bike tours. The weather started moody and overcast, but before long the sun came out and warmed the autumn air.
We loved being a part of the Harvest Century and we’ve already made plans to return next year. Here are some photos from the day:
