Today, Adnan & I are making final preparations for our first guided tour of the season in Oregon. Guests arrive Sunday when – according to the forecast – it should be sunny with temperatures in the mid 70s. Perfect for cycling across the rolling hills of the Willamette Valley.
From the wineries of the Willamette Valley we head over to Mount Hood for some hillier terrain and a glorious 25-mile descent down to the Columbia River Gorge. If the weather holds, we’ll be enjoying fresh pear juice and a picnic at the Draper Girls fruit farm with a snow-capped Mount Hood as a backdrop.
On the last day we start off at the Multnomah Falls where guests have the chance to hike above the falls or have a last bike ride to Troutdale – or even all the way into Portland for those with left over energy. Next week we’ll be blogging the trip – hopefully, with blue sky in our photos.
