Guided Bike Tour of Oregon

Today, Adnan & I are making final preparations for our first guided tour of the season in Oregon.  Guests arrive Sunday when – according to the forecast – it should be sunny with temperatures in the mid 70s.  Perfect for cycling across the rolling hills of the Willamette Valley.

Draper Girls Fruit Farm - Mount Hood in BackgroundFrom the wineries of the Willamette Valley we head over to Mount Hood for some hillier terrain and a glorious 25-mile descent down to the Columbia River Gorge.  If the weather holds, we’ll be enjoying fresh pear juice and a picnic at the Draper Girls fruit farm with a snow-capped Mount Hood as a backdrop.

On the last day we start off at the Multnomah Falls where guests have the chance to hike above the falls or have a last bike ride to Troutdale – or even all the way into Portland for those with left over energy.  Next week we’ll be blogging the trip – hopefully, with blue sky in our photos.
